Evelyn’s primary focus of interest is working with anxiety disorders, OCD, and depression using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Through these evidence-based treatments, she works to adapt it to each individual based on their therapeutic goals and needs.
Evelyn graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and English from Florida International University. She then continued higher education receiving her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Evelyn is bilingual in English and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys crocheting, boxing, and skateboarding!
