I have a special interest in anger management and believe that if you can handle your anger effectively, you'll do better with other emotions as well. I use a simple approach to help people regain their composure during conflict so as to help relationships rather than hurt them.
I think that lightness and humor have a place in the challenging work of changing oneself. I try to be helpful from the first session by asking: What happened this week that left you feeling uncomfortable? We'll discuss ways to come up with better results for the next time.
