My experience and background is related to trauma treatment with training in how to manage PTSD. However, many individuals experience phase of life issues and could use assistance managing situational stressors. Cultural competence can be useful when helping an individual navigate the realities of the life experience.
Success is measured by all the things we accomplish despite our circumstance. Most individuals need to be reminded that “ you are not your circumstance.” The best news regarding most circumstances ….with the right intervention your circumstances can and will change.
