Anyone who approaches my office would be an ideal client. If someone understands that they need support, I can only try my hardest to offer the proper support. Some issues that people face in this world are anxiety, depression, isolation, racism, and financial barriers. The needs people have will vary and I will collaborate with my client to work towards finding a solution. Some people may need a safe place to communicate. Others may need tangible resources. If I don't know the answer, I will network and find a person who can provide insight.
Everyone has a strength, even if they can't see it immediately. I come from a strengths-based approach to highlight the resilience or positive attributes that my client's have. I have experience facilitating group therapy sessions, such as mindfulness or cognitive behavioral therapy. I am kind, patient, empathetic, and hard working.
