Hi! My name is Evan, and I am a student therapist/intern. I was born and raised in the suburbs outside of Washington D.C. and I recently moved to Kalamazoo to earn my counseling degree from Western Michigan. Therapy is my passion because I believe that expressing your feelings and thoughts allows you to know and love yourself. I believe that it is a miracle that I can help someone feel happier through dialogue and I would be grateful for the opportunity to talk with you. I am fascinated by attachment theory, which is about building strong relationships with others in order to feel safe and confident in the world.
