Eva’s aim is that you’ll gain a sense of self, as you process & cultivate strategies to counteract distressing situations & emotions during your sessions. She’ll aid you in setting and attaining your therapeutic goals. She has experience working with individuals who struggle with trauma, substance use, anxiety, and depression, just to name a few. Eva offers both in-person & virtual sessions. She utilizes a strength-based perspective, with a person-centered approach. She is Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed which focuses on parts.
Sessions last about 50-60 minutes; 1st session is an assessment & can be longer Eva's therapeutic career began with a community mental health agency, working with diverse populations with an array of mental health issues. Eva's past trainings have been focused on suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, CBT for psychosis, PTSD, assessments, and diagnosing.
