Do you often feel stressed or worried, or that you can't turn your mind "off"? Do you feel stuck in your life, but uncertain of how to change? Are you engaging in behaviors that sometimes you don't even understand? Some of these experiences could be related to trauma; together you and I will explore and identify the varying causes of these feelings and change your thinking patterns. In trauma therapy, we understand that the memories from your past can be triggered by the present--memories don't exist on their own. Each experience and memory is attached to another in your body and mind.
I have worked extensively with victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual violence since 2018. I also work closely with clients who are experiencing anxiety and depression as a consequence of traumatic events, such as car accidents, sudden loss, or life transitions. If this sounds like something you're struggling with, you've come to the right place.
By exploring and processing your trauma, it is possible to experience relief and peace from disturbing memories. The positive impact of therapy is expected to ripple throughout your life. I am honored that your journey has brought you here. Healing is possible. You are not alone.
