Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach and I work with my clients to tailor therapy to meet their needs. Everyone is different and experiences many challenges in life. To better serve my clients, I start where the client is. With the client’s help, I determine the goals of therapy and we work together to achieve those goals. This process works even if people do not know what they want from therapy except to feel better. Therapy involves many layers and it’s my job as a clinician to guide them through those layers.
Some people know what their ideal life looks like, but do not know how to get there. They are caught up in cycles brought about by maladaptive thinking and coping skills, most of which are buried into the subconscious. I strive to help my clients improve their lives and functioning. I have worked with people in many stages of their lives by helping them to understand their behaviors and the mechanics behind it.
