Besides being personally transformed by the healing touch of mindfulness, yoga, meditation and other modalities related to the integrative and holistic approach, I enjoy helping others to appreciate the transformational touch of modalities focusing on the mind-body connection. In my practice, I combine techniques, such as mindfulness, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, meditation, yoga, somatic therapy, psychoanalysis, and, (in the near future) hypnotherapy, in order to determine which combination will best meet my client’s needs.
I was trained in helping clients navigate through strong emotions, deal with transition and change, self-control, anxiety, depression and emotional regulation. Beyond wellness and counseling, I am interested in helping clients to access states beyond cognition, where they can more clearly engage with blockages and access their innate wisdom.
I am a psychotherapist, mindfulness teacher, and meditation and yoga instructor. I was born in Bulgaria and before coming to the USA, where I completed a Ph.D. in History and MA in Mental Health Counseling, I have a business background working in Germany for 10 years. I have taught for many years as an Instructor for Psychology and History Departments.
