I entered the field of counseling with the belief that individuals can create real and positive change for themselves. I have been in the field for more than a decade and have worked to help others identify negative patterns in their daily lives and empower them to develop more healthy choices and behaviors. I have a background in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and employ a person-centered approach. I have worked with couples, families, and individuals all working to gain insight and get more out of their lives.
I initially got into the field to understand the roots of destructive behaviors and disorders that stem from negative thinking. Through my work with individuals struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Addiction, and other afflictions I support a process of identifying and "unlearning" patterns in life that are not working.
Although I have worked extensively with individuals and couples suffering from relationship issues, I have also focused on issues related to Addiction, Mood Disorders, Gender Issues, Bi-polar Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, and many others.
