Parents school has started back up and you're feeling increasingly frustrated or helpless with your child’s behavior such as tantrums, anger control, anxiety, negative feedback from school/daycare, difficulties focusing, or struggles with self-esteem/self-confidence. My goal is to help your child improve in all these areas while also supporting you with real skills you can utilize at home. I also specialize in seeing couples and adults with concerns of anxiety, depression, life changes, PTSD and trauma. I am EMDR trained and use my skills to assist clients struggling with PTSD and unresolved trauma.
My wide range of experience includes serving the mental health community in multiple capacities through community agencies, judicial system, schools, and inpatient facilities. Additionally, I am a Child-Parent Relationship Training provider, have completed Gottman Method Couples Level 1 training, and working towards my Registered Play Therapist credential.
I am committed to helping each client reach their therapeutic goals, which I believe is very much individualized and a collaborative process. I strive to do this in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I am deeply honored to be trusted as your clinician and I look forward to helping you along your journey to living life to its fullest!

Child Parent Relationship Therapy
Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT, Landreth & Bratton, 2006) is a play-based 10 week group for children presenting with behavioral/emotional/social/attachment concerns. CPRT supports the idea a secure parent-child relationship is essential for child's well-being. During the 10 week group, parents learn skills to respond to their children's emotional/behavioral needs. In turn, children learn they can count on their parents to reliably/consistently meet their needs for love/acceptance/safety/security. The goal of CPRT is to strengthen the parent-child attachment bond, reducing behavior problems and stress in the parent-child relationship.
