It is often hard to take time to reflect on where we are in life and where we would like to be. Therapy is an experience that allows us to slow down and explore ways to improve and maximize our day-to-day experiences and interactions. I am a relational psychoanalyst by training, which means I focus on how your present and past intersect and its impact on who you are today. We will work together to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable talking about difficult thoughts and feelings.
I trained in Psychoanalysis at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy and work as a therapist and a high risk screener at the Psychotherapy Center for Gender and Sexuality. I specialize in working with individuals who have left insular communities and struggle with feelings of anxiety, depression, isolation and loneliness.
In my practice I take the time to listen to your individual needs and tailor our sessions to meet you where you are at. In addition to my specialty I work well with individuals and couples who are struggling with life transitions, interpersonal connection, mood regulation and trauma.
