I started my career as an addiction counselor and have since witnessed many clients successfully maintain their sobriety for 9-10 years. Recognizing the prevalence of underlying mental health issues among those in recovery, I transitioned to mental health counseling because mental health issues manifested after sobriety. As an addiction counselor, I found myself increasingly providing mental health counseling. I am now equally proficient and certified in both addiction and mental health counseling, and I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anxiety disorders. Depression, relationship issues.ADHD, Bipolar. And trauma.
I've noticed that about 70% of problems can be solved using rational problem-solving. However, the remaining 30% require more than just logical reasoning. I now understand that wisdom, which involves a deeper understanding of human nature and emotions, is more powerful than mere knowledge or information.
With extensive experience in providing support to clients dealing with addiction and deep-seated trauma, I prioritize creating a safe and transformative environment for individuals to address their emotions and conquer challenges. My counseling has reached a diverse range of individuals, including veterans, lawyers, mothers, and abuse victims.
