Trauma and grief can be some of the most complicated life experiences an individual could go through. Since grief and trauma can take on many forms, they can be challenging to process no matter when they occur. These experiences can lead to a long list of feelings such as pain, frustration, vulnerability, shame, and loneliness. While grieving does not get easier with time, time allows for the adjustment of your new normal. Within my clinical foundation, I gravitate towards incorporating mindfulness and strength-based practices within treatment.
Together, I will stand by you to comfort you in finding hope in healing and repairing the relationship you envision for yourself. It can be challenging throughout treatment to discuss these realities but it can be rewarding to discover your strengths and resiliencies.
