Life is full of change and transitions, which can effect our self worth, relationships, work/school, and every other aspect of life. As I have traveled my own path, I have experienced how unsettling these times can be. Having a safe place to share your struggles, to create a new path, and feel genuinely accepted is crucial, and that is why I have chosen to walk with you. I believe people generally want to feel connected, accepted and valued. As your therapist, I see myself as your teammate, and we will collaborate to get you to the place you want to be.
I welcome all (ages 12 and up) who are experiencing challenges, transitions, change, or trauma to reach out . I work from a person-centered perspective, incorporating CBT, Solution-Focused and Trauma-informed care as needed. I believe that an eclectic, holistic approach to therapy is most important.
As your counselor, I am committed to creating a safe space for you to discover your authentic self through a transparent clinical relationship. I believe we can develop solutions to the struggles of life, by working through past and present struggles, and imagining a better future. Every person deserves to feel safe, accepted and affirmed.
