I provide a warm, non-judgmental and strengths-based space for you or your child to process current and past challenges, traumas, and hurts. I serve clients throughout VA and DC through telehealth and see in-person clients at my office in Henrico, VA. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents ages 3 and up. I also serve adults who are in crisis, adjusting to changing life circumstances, or experiencing symptoms of trauma (PTSD/CPTSD), anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and depression. I provide parenting support/family sessions as needed.
I am trained in a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities including EMDR, child centered and directive play therapies, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Supportive Therapy. We will partner together to determine which approach will best meet your needs.
Coming to therapy is a huge step, in our first session I will empathetically listen and seek to better understand your current needs and goals. You are the expert on your life and we will work together to create a plan that works for you!
