I have spent the majority of my professional career in a military environment and consider it an honor to have helped individuals with significant trauma, depression, anxiety, and overall life stress. The integration of physical and behavioral health is the epitome of why I entered the mental health field. My mission and approach helps bridge a gap that isn't often addressed in healing. My mission as a therapist is to help people heal themselves. Using holistic techniques, we address concerns comprehensively, leading to deeper healing and long-lasting balance.
While therapy is not a “one-size-fits-all” endeavor, I do believe that we all carry with us the emotional imprints of every moment in our lives. Every triumph, challenge, tragedy, and joy logs messages and emotional memories within us and our bodies. Sometimes those messages dictate, even inhibit, how we relate to ourselves and others, and respond to events.
By exploring these messages in-session, we identify thought patterns, beliefs, and emotions that are at the root of our concerns, and with time and consistency, heal and replace them with thoughts and messaging that points us in the direction of balance, acknowledgement, validation, and self-worth.
