Whether I am working with an individual or a couple, I believe in recognizing each client’s unique strengths as they relate to the particular challenges they wish to address. I specialize in helping couples who are unsatisfied with their current level of connection. I believe that a couple's relationship happens outside of the therapy office, so work to give couples the tools needed to improve their relationship in the context of their daily lives. I also provide discernment counseling for couples considering separation or divorce.
I have completed Level 2 Gottman Training, and use research-based methods proven to help couples communicate more effectively. I work with pre-marital couples, couples who have drifted apart while navigating daily pressures (like parenthood), LGBTQIA+ couples, and couples who are deciding whether to continue their marriage or to pursue separation/divorce.
It's never too early - or too late - to begin couples therapy. Increased relationship satisfaction not only benefits the couple, it also benefits children, job performance, and even physical health.
