My practice is currently full. My name is Erin. If you are reading this you likely want something different for your life. Whatever your story is, counseling can support you in the process of discovering how to be in the world in new ways. You may be in a life transition, experiencing overwhelm, having relationship issues, or grieving. The list goes on. Together, we will explore your story, revealing its limitations. We will work to gain insight into why you feel the way you do and to dismantle unhelpful beliefs and coping strategies. The outcome: possibilities for living differently.
I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and loss. Grief is a pivotal theme of my work. My work also includes aging and life transitions concerns. I enjoy working with individuals who are trying to show up for themselves and those they care about. I work with individuals, couples, and groups.
My approach is client centered and integrative. My work has a psychodynamic orientation, scaffolded by attention to somatic experience, contemplative practices and existential themes. Family systems are considered. I rely on creating a trusting connection with my clients. I listen with warmth and empathy. Please note, I do not take insurance.
