In my role as a counselor, I support individuals who have experienced trauma or pain in their lives. Much of my work focuses on processing trauma, building awareness, and practicing doing something different. I have a special interest in assisting clients through relationship concerns, personality disorders, and dysfunctional families. The people that I work with often feel stuck in unhealthy patterns of behaving, thinking, and feeling. Counseling offers you the intentional space to explore those stuck points and build new patterns to sustain a satisfying life.
I work to provide a warm and nonjudgmental space, in which you feel safe to explore the vulnerable parts of your story. I enjoy facilitating inner child work, teaching skills to manage emotions and relationships, and modeling self-compassion. I believe that through therapy, you can effectively build resilience, develop insight, and tend to your pain.
