I specialize in culturally sensitive and trauma-informed therapy and am adept at working with a wide array of identities. I am especially passionate about healing grief, trauma, and attachment wounds. Joining you in the process of clarifying your values, context, and emotional learnings to face what's holding you back is the foundation of my approach. Before becoming a social worker, I spent more than 20 years in higher education. My Ph.D. in history provides a unique depth of knowledge and empathetic understanding of the many types of trauma that arise from living in our complex world.
My work is rooted in neuroscience, harnessing the brain's natural healing processes to accompany clients as they accomplish deep transformation in a safe and supportive environment. Utilizing experiential methods like Internal Family Systems, I guide clients in navigating their healing journey to see the changes they want in their lives.
