My focus is within psychodynamic concepts, allowing for us to address life experiences, that can be both defined and understood through metaphor. In therapy, we are solidifying your understanding of what an experience may symbolize for you. My goal is to provide therapy that facilitates a deeper understanding of your experience. I view therapy as a medium that can lead to long-lasting change, as a treatment, utilized as an exploration of insight and compassionate engagement, to help you identify what obstacles are getting in the way of your personal and professional growth.
I utilize a Jungian oriented approach, while drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. I engage in a humanistic, comprehensive process that considers the whole self within the experience of therapy. We will seek to learn about who you are and your life allowing us to identify strategies and approaches best suited to your goals.
