Throughout my career, I have worked with countless youth/young adults who have shared with me that their voices have been frequently dismissed or outright ignored. To anyone reading this who shares this feeling, I want you to know I HEAR you! I have devoted the past 8-years to working with youth/young adults, to not only hearing their voices and validating their experiences, but also working alongside them to empower themselves and improve the quality of their lives. Using an existential perspective, I work to help clients find or regain a sense of meaning and purpose that is so crucial for leading a fulfilling, rewarding life.
I use a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches to help clients find personal freedom and empowerment by shifting their focus away from attempting to change the thoughts and behaviors of others in their world and instead focusing on changing how they view and interact with their world.
I have experience working with clients in a variety of settings such as school-based, outpatient, and psychiatric day treatment. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, low self-esteem, and a variety of relationship issues.
