There are times in life when we find ourselves stuck. Whether you're facing a difficult life situation or patterns that continue to present themselves in your life, I can help you explore and work through these challenging issues. I work closely with my clients to create a safe, non-judgmental space to process stressors and life issues and find ways to manage them more effectively, helping my clients to live a life they deserve. It is my emphasis to help clients see their own power and strengths, to create positive change in their lives.
I specialize working with anxiety, relationship issues, parenting, depression, life transitions and trauma. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and also use other approaches such as psychodynamic and relational theories. I work collaboratively with my clients on coping strategies and skills as well as examining thinking and relationship patterns.
I have background working as a school social worker and a clinical supervisor in a substance abuse program, and have spent the last 15 years working in private practice. I bring a unique set of skills, experience and understanding to help clients and their families find connection and joy again.
