In my practice, I work to create a space that is free from judgment and gives children and adolescents the opportunity to feel safe and heard. Your child will feel at ease in an environment where they can learn to express themselves fully and gain a better understanding of themselves and their life experiences. My work focuses on young people experiencing anxiety and depression, and for those who may feel the internal demand to be perfect and perform at high levels in school, sports, and all areas of their lives.
Through my experiences in behavioral health and as a school social worker, I strive to ensure that children discover ways to feel good about themselves and uncover their own strengths. Through their newfound sense of self, children and adolescents are able to make confident choices and feel empowered by their own abilities to succeed.
We will work together to set goals that feel realistic and attainable. I provide a welcoming environment for exploring emotions and understanding how to view life circumstances as empowering rather than defeating.
