My primary focus areas in counseling include women's issues, serving military service members (active duty and veterans) and their families, and men and women struggling with pregnancy and postpartum issues. I also have experience with treating depression, anxiety, suicidal/self-harm ideation, grief, sexual identity concerns, individuals with marriage and family conflict, sexual trauma, and domestic violence issues. I am compassionate and understanding in my approach, but I will also challenge you to grow in your confidence and resilience. One of my main approaches is helping clients find purpose and identity in the midst of disappointment, loneliness, and loss, while also confronting faulty beliefs stemming from society.
