When people ask what I do as a counselor, then, I tell them I turn people's light on. That gets some rather curious looks. But, then, I explain that everyone has an inner light, the potential to shine from within. Some of us, though, we need to discover how to turn our light back on, or perhaps find it so that it can be turned on for the very first time.
