My work is centered around helping individuals & couples navigate complex relationship issues with others and themselves. As a systemic thinker and trauma-informed clinician, I help clients build relational self-awareness & create meaningful change that supports their day to day lives. As a psychotherapist, I approach my work with warmth, empathy, and logic & greatly value the therapeutic relationship. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to practicing with cultural humility. I consider it a privilege to work with people with varying backgrounds and identities.
I am trained as a Marriage & Family Therapist & earned my M.S. from Northwestern University. Following my degree, I completed a clinical fellowship treating eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder. I have extensive training in Integrative Systemic Therapy, Family Systems, and various models of couples therapy.
I believe therapy can be a highly-effective process when both creativity and research serve as the foundation.
