My approach to therapy is to accompany my clients in reconnecting with their authentic, self-compassionate, wise selves. I work with clients grappling with life transitions, grief, anxiety, isolation, depression, recovery from narcissistic abuse, spiritual crisis, and religious trauma. I specialize in guiding clients exploring spiritual integration (e.g. near death experiences, values alignment, embodiment, transcendent experiences), personal and spiritual inquiry, post-traumatic growth, and sexual and gender identity.
I work primarily from a person-centered approach using mindfulness-based techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic interventions, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Gestalt. I am passionate about these approaches because I’ve personally witnessed how using these techniques can enable profound healing.
