Welcome. My name is Eric Falkman, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in the state of New York. I have over 8 years of experience providing treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked with various populations, including individuals in crisis and others with anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management issues, self-harm, psychosis, among many others. I have completed trainings in the areas of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), as well as solution focused brief therapy (SFBT).
My goal is to tailor my therapeutic approach based on the needs of the individual. I assist in identify triggers for negative emotions, and work to develop coping strategies and mindfulness techniques, which can be helpful in reducing distress.
I like to focus on building a rapport which each client and strive to make you feel comfortable during your sessions.
