I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in private practice partnering with Mindful Therapy Group. I specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in the treatment of PTSD, anxiety, depression and addictions, including sexual compulsivity. My focus is working with adolescents and their families, couples, and men going through difficult transitions. I am a Level II EMDR therapist with over 25 years experience treating PTSD, trauma, anxiety and addiction. My style as a therapist is very direct and has frequently been referred to as "coach-like" in that I want the people I work with to get to their goals as quickly as possible.

I have over 25 years in the treatment of adolescents, adults, and families dealing with dysfunctional and destructive coping mechanisms. With over 28 years of experience in private practice with a focus on sex and porn addiction, PTSD and trauma, and relationship issues, I bring a unique understanding of the challenges facing providers in helping clients who deal with issues that are uniquely part of modern culture. Supervision is a time for clinical social work candidates to identify their style and discover how to put the theories learned during their journey into practice.
