I work with clients from a variety of different problems, challenges and life circumstances. The majority of my professional experience has been in working with pre-teens/teens who struggle with suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, self-esteem/image, social emotional and other related behavioral concerns. As well as kids who have an individualized education plan and need extra social emotional skill support. I also have extensive knowledge and experience in working within the veteran/military community and the unique needs of this special population that I have navigated myself as a veteran.
As a licensed clinical social worker, credential school based therapist, advanced addiction treatment practitioner, veteran and proud mom of two school aged children - I offer genuine psychotherapeutic support that is mindfully seeking root causes of current symptomology.
My goal is for every client to feel heard, understood, connected but also challenged. We will build from your strength's and dive into reflective thinking on problems/solutions and other relevant considerations in our working together.
