Empathy Works is a warm welcoming therapy group blending compassionate counseling techniques with evidence-based therapies. Our therapists specialize in working with couples, families, adults, teens, and children seeking meaningful and lasting change in their lives. We work with individuals, couples and families on a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting, stage of life transitions, trauma, and grief and loss across the life span.
Using an integrative approach, we pull from multiple orientations including: Attachment Theory, Differentiation, Neuroscience, modern Psychodynamic Theory, Family Systems Theories, Mindfulness techniques, Somatic Therapy, Positive Psychology, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),
