My name is Emmogene (Emma) Chepely, and I’m glad you’re here. I would be honored to help you take the important step toward a better life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in Missouri and based in the St. Louis area, and I have over 6 years experience treating trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life changes, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and LGBTQ+. I use an eclectic and personalized approach in order to provide a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment which fosters growth and learning. I work to build a connection with no shame or judgement.
I specialize in trauma, mood disorders, and LGBTQIA+ therapy. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore how our thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences affect each other and how we give you tools to start coping and understanding more effectively. I also use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a CBT-based therapy, to treat trauma/PTSD.
I know reaching out for help can be difficult, but you deserve to feel better. Let someone listen who also has the skills to help you understand and achieve your goals. Why not start today?
