As your therapist, it is my goal to develop a safe and secure relationship with you in order for you to have a safe space in exploring all parts of yourself. In this relationship, I will be genuine and provide empathy and unconditional positive regard. I believe true change can occur by gaining insight and understanding of unresolved issues and how they show up in your present life. Throughout this process I will integrate mindfulness, development in skill building to manage distress tolerance and emotional regulation, and improve interpersonal problem solving skills.
I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, children, couples and families. My areas of interests are developmental trauma, those experiencing a poor sense of self, low self-esteem, mood dysregulation, self-harm or reckless behaviors, poor interpersonal relationships, and an overall decline in functioning at work and school.
Providing a safe space is one of my top priorities in order for growth to take place.
