It's easy to feel lost right now and to not know how to navigate life and everything that comes with it. You do not have to have everything figured out because sometimes the best thing you can do is to keep moving forward, but after doing it alone for too long, it becomes harder. Asking for help and starting therapy can be scary. Especially if you have never done it before or had a previous bad experience. My job as a therapist is to help you increase your inner-strength and navigate whatever overwhelming emotions that you are having.
My passion has always been towards helping children and adolescents navigate through the impact of past trauma and anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and whatever stressors life throws your way. I have experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, play therapy, and art therapy, working with both individuals and families.
My very first goal of being a therapist is to always make sure you are comfortable and ensure that therapy is something that you look forward to instead of dread being at. Every person should have a place and a person where they feel comfortable talking about their struggles and past trauma. I hope that I can be that person for you.
