I have been in the helping profession for over 25 years, working with a wide variety of clients across the life span. I approach clients with an open mind, encouraging them to set their goals and collaborate with me to resolve their problems and issues. I am solution-focused, asking, "what do you need to be the healthiest person you can be? How can I help?" Clients have told me they most appreciate that I listen, do not judge, and provide an empathetic ear. I find clients often have the answer to their issues, but they need help recognizing that answer. Yes, change is hard, but it can be accomplished with faith and work.
Specialties are trauma and abuse, grief, addictions, depression, parenting issues, and anxiety. I also offer psychological testing and evaluations and DOT SAP evaluations and counseling.
