I specialize in working with OCD, depression, grief, trauma, sexual abuse and eating disorders. I use a solutions focused approach as well as incorporating CBT, DBT and exposure response prevention.
My desire is to be a safe place that allows for direction, comfort, and security. More than anything, I want to instill a sense of hope in my clients. As much as we try, sometimes situations don’t change, but the way we manage and cope with them can.
I hear so often that clients want to feel like themselves again…to be restored. I believe that through counseling, a client can not only be brought back to their original healthy condition, but that they can experience a fresh joy and a new strength as well.
