Over the course of my 22 year career working in the behavioral health field, I have transitioned from being a strict cognitive behavioral therapist, to working from a trauma informed approach to treating a variety of conditions with EMDR, cognitive therapy, behavioral treatments, mindfulness, clinical yoga, attachment theory, and ketamine assisted psychotherapy. Human beings are COMPLEX and psychotherapy works better when the provider and client work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan as unique as that individual! I commonly work with people to target their symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety, and family trauma.
I specialize in treating trauma, depression & anxiety. I treat adults only- in individual and group therapy. I am passionate about assisting individuals through the change process, helping my patients achieve their goals, and understanding problems and difficulties while affirming individual differences, race, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
Starting psychotherapy or changing therapy providers can be very difficult! Please reach out if you’re on the fence about starting/continuing therapy with me or one of my staff. We’re here to help and educate!
