Hey there! I believe in affordable and accessible mental health care, which is why I founded a nonprofit 5 years ago to support our community and bringing a new approach to therapy. I believe in supporting clients from a. more straightforward, yet strength-based approach based on theories such as DBT, narrative, and EFT. Together, we'll work collaboratively to explore patterns that no longer serve you and work on steps towards healing. I have been a therapist for over 10 years and work with those struggling with eating disorders, self injury, suicide ideation and other concerns.
I utilize core components of DBT, including Mindfulness: Cultivating present-moment awareness to observe thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgment. Emotion Regulation: Learning to identify, understand, and manage intense emotions in healthy and adaptive ways and Interpersonal Effectiveness: Developing assertiveness skills to support relationships
