Hello my name is Emily and it's nice to meet you! I am currently accepting new clients in Oregon and Washington. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Supervisor. With over 20 years of experience, I have treated children, adolescents, adults and elders as individuals, families and groups, in some of the largest and most diverse cities in the United States. I support the holistic healing of mind, body and spirit by helping clients create the space needed to tap into mind-body awareness. I co-create a treatment approach with clients that is accessible, supportive and actionable.
My approach utilizes evidence practices including mindfulness, self-compassion and cognitive behavioral therapy. I provide clients with tools as they journey toward greater peace and acceptance. I believe that the sticky spaces in life are opportunities to create change, and that everyone deserves therapy and opportunities for support and self-reflect.
My goal is to create a safe container in session that empowers clients to do challenging but transformative work.
