Hello! And welcome. My name is Emily and I am a practicing psychotherapist with a passion for holistic healing and empowering you to live a life you love. I enjoy working with women and survivors of trauma. I specialize in helping clients navigate their many meaningful relationships, in perinatal wellness, and in determining better ways to heal mood and anxiety symptoms. I am trained in CBT, DBT, perinatal counseling, and mindfulness. I'll follow your lead throughout this process. You are the expert in your life. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in psychology and art at Connecticut College before obtaining my Masters from Columbia University in counseling psychology. I'm trained in meditation and perinatal counseling (pregnancy, loss, postpartum). I've also taught and conducted research in mood, sleep, human development, and the nature of the therapeutic relationship.
