Emily Peterson received her undergraduate degree from Colby Sawyer College in New London, NH and her graduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She completed her Internships with Youth Opportunities, Day Treatment in Winston Salem, Yadkin County Department of Social Services, and Youth Focus Inc Psych Residential Treatment Facility Greensboro. Emily has been in practice for over 6 years and has experience in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered therapy.
Emily evaluates and manages patients via telehealth, and has expertise in treating individuals with a wide variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, stress management, and life adjustments , among others.
Emily is accepting new patients who have Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina insurance, Optum UHC, or prefer to pay privately.
