In my practice I strive to help each client tap into their strengths and see their true potential. I provide psychotherapy for individuals and families enduring life stressors related to anxiety, depression, loneliness, self-confidence and doubt, parenting, career challenges, learning disabilities, relationships, trauma, adoption and foster care. I have 18+ years of working with individuals impacted by trauma, especially as children.
I welcome adults of all ages. I am also a college professor and am passionate about working with young adults to help them successfully juggle the demands of school, work and personal relationships.
I believe in being creative, flexible and patient. Therapy can be a transformative process and each person is unique. I take the time to get to know you and meet you right where you are. "We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty," Maya Angelou.
