Eating disorders began rising at alarming rates over the course of the pandemic with little growth in the number of equipped providers. Many parents of children & adolescents have been left in the lurch, trying to understand what's going on with their kids & how to help. For those adolescents & emerging adults ready to confront body image and/or create a life worth living, finding a provider that understands eating disorders in & out can be a challenge.
My specialties are Family Based-Treatment, an evidence-based practice shown to greatly improve ED symptoms & get kids on the path to recovery, & creative arts therapy. I offer FBT sessions for parents, supportive therapy for their children, and goal-oriented, body image, and life-worth-living individual sessions for motivated adolescents & emerging adults.
