I am Dominican and I was born and raised in the Bronx. I currently attend Naropa University where I am pursuing a Master's in Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling. I am completing my student practicum at Divergence Mental Health Group via telehealth.
I am a Humanistic, person-centered therapist with heavy influences from Gestalt (a present-centered modality) and Internal Family Systems (also known as parts-work). I also have a background in mindfulness techniques and am open to exploring the spiritual dimension if the client is interested.
My focus is less on exploring the past and more on how its affecting the present moment. My goal is to help clients come into a better relationship with themselves and others.
