Deciding to begin therapy can be a turning point in your life. I work with children, adolescents and adults using supportive and insight-oriented psychotherapy for issues related to adjustment and stress (e.g. anxiety, depression) as well as specializing in conditions that affect the brain (e.g. learning disorders, ADHD, brain injury, memory problems). As a clinical psychologist and a neuropsychologist, I have specialized dual training in brain behavior relationships and take a psychodynamic approach when working with clients therapeutically. I also integrate cognitive behavioral techniques to help my clients meet their treatment goals.
As a neuropsychologist, I am trained to use comprehensive evaluations to help my clients understand their individual strengths and weaknesses, help guide interventions, and also help parents advocate for their children when the school does not understand the child's more subtle learning or attention problems.
In addition to being a private practitioner in Westchester,I also hold a position as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine where I teach graduate students.
