I believe everyone is seeking meaning in life. We desire a story in which we experience love, acceptance, and fulfillment. Many of us get stuck somewhere along the way due to complicated circumstances and relationships. We do the best we can to survive when we were meant to thrive. A typical client for me desires to make a change and live a more fulfilling life. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions. My goal is to help clients learn proactive ways to respond to life’s obstacles and improve their quality of life.
The techniques I most often utilize include EMDR, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness. I believe it is best to evaluate each individual's needs before utilizing a specific treatment modality. I find therapy is most effective when we work together to tailor a plan that meets your goals.
