Currently accepting new clients. Hi, I’m Emily! I am a clinical social worker and have been practicing for over ten years. I provide individual therapy to adults and have significant experience working with graduate and undergraduate college students and young professionals. Whether this is your first time looking for a therapist or you’re trying again, I believe it is profoundly brave to ask for help. My clinical work focuses on identity development, life transitions and adjustment, relationship difficulties including family of origin and parent/child, trauma, eating and body image issues, perfectionism, anxiety and depression.
I use an integrative approach to therapy, working primarily through a relational and trauma-informed lens and drawing from DBT, ACT, and emotion-focused perspectives. I aim to provide a supportive, warm, non-judgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore their areas of concerns together with empathy, compassion, authenticity, and humor.
