Life is full of changes and transitions-particularly for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families! It is my hope that I can work with individuals and families to not only grow from their experiences, but to gain helpful insight that will allow them to flourish in the future. I am currently accepting new clients ages three to thirteen years of age, as well as working with parents regarding parenting-related concerns. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, ADHD symptoms, school-related concerns, and clients whose families may be in the midst of a transition in their family system.
I began my professional career working in the school system for over ten years. I enjoy collaborating with the child/adolescent's entire system-school, home, and wherever they find support. I utilize a strengths-based approach in sessions through play, discussion, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, and family activities.
It is my belief that every individual and family has the potential to overcome the problems that they face in life, but we were never intended to do so alone. I view concerns from a systemic perspective, and believe in addressing the whole person. I would be honored to walk with you and your family on your journey towards reaching your goals.
